Ephemeral Art - should I copyright this?

Being the most industrious of non-housekeepers, and I know I am not alone here, I thought this might stike a chord with fellow artists.
I call it "Dust Doily" and send it out with a big hug to all those farmers planting crops. If you've watched the soil of Caledon go up in dust, you'll know what I mean.
