Out of the depths of darkness...

This tiny patch of joy greeted me as I tried to fit all the Christmas decorations boxes back on the shelves. I swear they multiply when they hit the tree. Must be all the love around :)

So what? You might well ask! To me it is a small miracle. A bud, the promise of a flower in the snowy minus 20 days of January, emerging in the windowless basement - no water, no light (it truly is only a storage place) - just hope.
